HIF has already taken initiatives and partnered with various key projects that shall have far-reaching implications in its short time of operation. They include projects areas of:- Power Generation (primarily hydropower) with current and pipeline projects of 500MW approx and growing.
- Urban Development – Tourism and Health Sector Projects.
- Financial Infrastructure – Advisory, Credit Ratings, Electronic Payment Solutions, Insurance.
HIF has already entered into joint-ventures with local/international partners that shall facilitate its strategic initiatives.

Joint venture with Feedback Ventures India
A joint venture with Feedback Infra Pvt. Ltd. (formerly Feedback Infrastructure Services Pvt. Ltd.) – India’s
leading integrated infrastructure services company. Feedback Nepal is operational since year 2010 and is
providing its services to clients within Nepal, India, Finland and China for Feasibility Studies, Detailed
Engineering Design, Environmental Studies, Lender's Engineers Services, Construction Supervision of various
sizes of hydropower projects including Detailed Feasibility Studies and Environmental Studies of high voltage
transmission lines.
Joint venture with ICRA
A joint venture with ICRA - one of India's leading credit rating agency and an affiliate of Moody's. ICRA Nepal
has started its operation.
Investment in Chhaya Center
Investment in Chhaya Center, an ambitious project comprising of Shopping Malls and Hotel located at Thamel. It
started operation from July 2019.Citizen Life Insurance
Citizen Life is one of the fastest growing life insurance companies in Nepal. It started its operations on October
19, 2017 (Kartik 02, 2074) after Nepal Beema Pradhikaran, the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Nepal,
awarded it the operation license on August 23, 2017 (Bhadra 07, 2074).Himalayan Re-Insurance
Nepal Himalayan Re is the first private sector reinsurance company established in the Republic of Nepal. The
company would offer Reinsurance support to Life and General Insurance Companies in Nepal and overseas.Hydropower
